WELCOME

Sleep challenges are common for children with autism, and they can feel overwhelming for families. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Certified Behavioral Sleep Practitioner (CBSP), I will work with you to create individualized, practical sleep plans that respect your child's strengths, sensitivities, and routines.

About Me

Hi, I'm Larissa Woloszyn, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over eight years of experience supporting children and families across home, school, daycare, and clinic settings. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working closely with children with autism and have seen firsthand how sleep challenges can impact not only the child, but the entire family.

As a Certified Behavioral Sleep Practitioner, I combine my background in behavior analysis with evidence-based sleep strategies to help families create realistic, effective, and compassionate sleep solutions. I understand that every child is unique, and I work collaboratively with families to develop individualized plans that fit their child's needs, routines, and sensitivities.

My goal is simple: to help your child achieve better sleep - and to help your whole family feel more rested, supported, and confident.

I proudly serve families across Ohio, Maryland, and Virginia.

Sleep Solutions

Better sleep starts with understanding what is getting in the way. I provide individualized behavioral sleep support to help children develop healthier sleep habits and help families create more successful bedtime routines.

Support may address:

  • Difficulty falling asleep

  • Frequent nighttime waking

  • Early morning waking

  • Bedtime resistance

  • Difficulty staying in bed

  • Inconsistent sleep schedules

  • Dependence on specific bedtime routines or conditions

  • Other behavioral sleep challenges

Each family receives an individualized approach based on the child's needs, developmental level, sleep patterns, and family goals.

Consultation Process

1. Initial Consultation

We’ll discuss your child’s sleep concerns, current routines, and your family’s goals. This is an opportunity to ask questions and determine whether behavioral sleep support is a good fit.

2. Sleep Assessment

If we move forward, I’ll gather detailed information about your child’s sleep patterns, routines, behaviors, and other factors that may be affecting sleep.

3. Personalized Sleep Plan

Based on the assessment, I’ll develop an individualized sleep plan with practical strategies tailored to your child and family.

4. Parent Session

We’ll review the plan together, discuss how to implement it, and make sure you feel comfortable getting started.

5. Ongoing Guidance

As you implement the plan, additional guidance may be recommended to address challenges, make adjustments, and support continued progress.

Parent Support

You don't have to navigate your child's sleep challenges alone. I provide personalized guidance to help you understand your child's sleep needs and feel confident implementing strategies at home.

Parent support may include:

  • Guidance on creating consistent bedtime routines

  • Strategies for addressing bedtime resistance and nighttime waking

  • Support with implementing your child's individualized sleep plan

  • Troubleshooting challenges that arise along the way

  • Recommendations for making appropriate adjustments as your child's needs change

My goal is to provide practical, individualized support that fits your child and your family's daily life.

Ongoing Guidance

Sleep challenges can change over time, and some families benefit from additional guidance after their initial sleep plan is in place.

Ongoing guidance provides an opportunity to:

  • Review your child's progress

  • Address new or ongoing sleep challenges

  • Troubleshoot barriers to implementing the sleep plan

  • Make adjustments when appropriate

  • Support consistency and continued progress

Additional guidance is available as needed and can be tailored to your family's needs.
